New Kitchen for Reception

Exciting News!

We are excited to be making some improvements to our Reception outdoor area, including redeveloping our outdoor kitchen, and we would love your help! The children have spent time sharing their ideas and thinking about what they would like in this space, and we are keen to bring their plans to life. If you or anyone in your family or community might have items to donate, we would be very grateful. If you have any of the following that are suitable for donation, please contact Miss Moshtagh via the school office. The following are what we would like;

  • Two microwaves (not working but still intact).

  • Pebbles, gravel, stones, slate or rocks.

  • Flowers for potion making (these can be deadheads from your garden!).

  • Large & small tyres.

  • Buckets or bowls that would fit the size of the tyre.

  • If there's any tree surgeons that you know, we'd love some wooden seating and a table made from tree trunks (see the Whole School Blog for more pictures).

  • Wood; large sheets of hardwood plywood.

  • Metal or wooden kitchen utensils; funnels, sieves, spoons.

Please do have a look at home and ask friends or family if they might have anything suitable – your support will help us create a fantastic outdoor space for the children to explore and enjoy. If you know of any local business' that you think would like to support this amazing project, please let Miss Moshtagh know via the school office.

We would like to thank Dandara for donating the time of some of their site team to clear this area and develop it ready for our new kitchen.
