Ofsted information

OFSTED

Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) independently inspects schools in England to assess the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and safeguarding.

We are proud that John Bunyan Primary School and Nursery continues to be judged as a Good school following its most recent inspection in February 2024. The inspection report recognises our caring, inclusive and engaging school community where pupils are happy, safe and supported to learn.

Our commitment to our values — Kindness, Resilience, Achievement and Pride — is reflected in the inspection findings and in daily school life. Pupils benefit from a broad and stimulating curriculum, inclusive opportunities to engage in creative and sporting activities, a strong focus on reading and writing, and positive relationships with staff.
