Our Reception children certainly bounced back after the disappointment of our first Sports Day being rained off!

For most children, Friday 12th June was their very first Sports Day at John Bunyan Primary School & Nursery, and what a fantastic event it was. It was wonderful to see so many parents able to join us and cheer the children on throughout the afternoon.

Competing proudly in their house teams of Fire, Water, Air and Earth, the children showed great enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship as they took part in a variety of events, including the egg and spoon race, beanbag balance race, space hopper race, hurdles and the flat race. There were lots of smiles, cheers and excitement as the children listened carefully, followed instructions and gave every event their best effort. We were incredibly proud of how well they all participated and supported one another.
