The Upper Key Stage 2 boys football team continued their fine form in their second league match of the season, defeating Rayne in a comfortable victory. The first 5 minutes of the game were scrappy, but the boys soon flicked into action. From deep inside his own half, Damon sent a long, cross-field ball to Frankie who nestled the ball into the bottom corner. Soon after, Jack whipped in a corner and Frankie was there again to nod it home. 2-0 up and cruising, Jack, Dylan and James all added their names to the score sheet. Solid defending from Maxwell, Damon and Harry meant that the boys kept a clean sheet. Final score: 5-0. Bunyan ball strikes again. Man of the Match - Damon.
